Farmers Can Now Express Support for Roundup Ready® Alfalfa
All members of the agriculture industry have a stake in defending farmers' rights to plant Roundup Ready® alfalfa and other crops with biotech traits that can make their farming operation more efficient and profitable.
The sale and planting of Roundup Ready® alfalfa were halted under an injunction in 2007 pending completion of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) by USDA's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS).
You can now weigh in and show your support to the USDA for Roundup Ready® alfalfa during an open comment period - Click here for step by step assistance to submit your comment.
It is important not only that farmers share their positive experiences with this product, but also that other members of our industry join them in explaining why the freedom to choose which technologies to plant should not be compromised.
